Open Enrollment Registration

Welcome to Our School District: Forest Lake Area Schools is happy to provide a great education to all students who wish to attend our schools, whether they live within our boundaries or in other districts.

Choosing a School: Our School District includes 12 great schools. Obviously, there are many important factors to consider before selecting a school for your child. You may want to visit several of our schools before choosing one for your child. Please also keep in mind that while all of our schools offer an outstanding education, each school is slightly different and a particular school may offer specific programs and options that you might prefer for your child. Open Enrollment Form: All Open Enrollment Students coming into our district must first submit an open-enrollment form to the Superintendent's Office. Forms can be mailed to: Superintendent Linda Madsen, Forest Lake Area Schools, 6100 N. 210th St., Forest Lake, MN 55025, or they can be simply dropped off at our district office building.

Transportation: Some Open Enrollment Students may be eligible receive transportation to their school of choice. In order to receive transportation services, you must submit a letter requesting such services to the Superintendent's Office. Letters can be mailed to: Superintendent Linda Madsen, Forest Lake Area Schools, 6100 N. 210th St., Forest Lake, MN 55025, or they can be simply dropped off at our district office building.

School Registration

Once you have selected the school you want your child to attend and have submitted the Open Enrollment Form and, if desired, Letter Requesting Transportation , follow the steps below to register your child for classes at their new school.
