Class of 1991

Dr. Britta Ramseth-Reierson, a practicing family physican at Park Nicollet Clinic in Golden Valley, MN, is a 1991 graduate of Forest Lake Area High School.
Before high school, she attended Forest Lake Elementary and Central Junior High School. Britta was very active in high school, not only maintaining outstanding work academically but participating in varsity tennis, track and field, drama and speech.
She credits teachers such as Gwen Hansen for sparking an interest for her in subjects such as biology and chemistry, which eventually would lead her to pursue career as a doctor.
After graduating from Forest Lake High School, Britta attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, which happened to be the college that her mother and uncle had attended. She earned her bachelor of arts degree from Gustavus in 1995 and was then accepted to the University of Minnesota's Medical School.
She earned her medical degree in 1999 and spent the next four years at St. John's Hospital at the University of Minnesota in residency in family medicine. Britta joined the staff at Park Nicollet Clinic immediately following her residency and she has been a practicing family doctor at the clinic ever since.
