Sarina Hannon
Class of 2011
Sarina Hannon was a member of the Forest Lake Area High School Class of 2011 - the school's 100th graduating class. She graduated highest academic scholar with honors.This fall, she plans to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) to study brain and cognitive sciences.
She began her elementary years at Forest Lake Elementary School and she transferred to Central Montessori Elementary when she entered the third grade. She attended Century Junior High School and then Forest Lake Area High School.
In high school, Sarina was a highly successful student leader who maintained a rigorous academic schedule, which included a variety of Advanced Placement, College in the Schools and Post-Secondary Educational Option courses.
In her senior year, she was captain of the Forest Lake Speech Team, president of the Rotary Interact and an officer in National Honor Society.
